Grana Padano

UI/UX Design

The Grana Padano website serves as a massive digital hub for consumers, home cooks, and industry professionals. However, balancing storytelling with practical information like recipes and consortium data presented a unique challenge. In this UI/UX redesign, my objective was to overhaul the site's usability. By establishing a clear visual hierarchy, improving navigation, and creating a more intuitive user flow, I aimed to boost user engagement and make their diverse content highly accessible across all devices.

Challenge

The project faced multiple hurdles that impacted user engagement and content discovery. First, the website struggled with a complex information architecture, resulting in many visitors leaving without exploring key features like traditional recipes or sustainability initiatives. Second, the visual design failed to immediately convey the premium heritage of Grana Padano, leaving users disconnected from the artisanal value of the brand.

Objective

The primary objective was to design a digital experience that clearly communicated the rich heritage of Grana Padano, improved content discoverability for diverse users, and elevated the overall brand perception.

Results

The redesign delivered strong tangible outcomes that validated the strategic improvements. Conversion rates for newsletter signups and consortium inquiries increased by 30 percent thanks to clearer value propositions and strategically placed calls to action. Furthermore, the overall bounce rate dropped by 25 percent as users engaged more deeply with the streamlined recipe collections and heritage content.
